Starting back in June 2018, I researched how to work with the complexities of Arabian melody, rhythm and harmony. Live tracks include Egyptian oud accompanied by dumbek, darbuka and riq using baladi and tsifteteli metre. The result? A new, evolving soundscape to support Levison’s incredible 5,000 mile adventure across Arabia!
