It’s been a thrilling week supporting the next generation of musical talent.
Firstly, there was a brilliant performance by one of my composition pupils at The Borderline (Soho, London) where her band performed her fabulous new rock/pop songs with fantastic skill and charisma! Then its been a week of seminars helping pupils prepare for their Associated Board of the Royal School of Music practical exams next week. Finally, one of my sixth form pupils has now had half a dozen new compositions published and used in several new documentaries coming up soon on mainstream TV.
It’s a real joy to share my experience and enthusiasm with the next generation and to see them grow in skill and confidence. Now it’s back to the studio to write the main theme for the next TV series…
